I graduated from Norwich School of Art and Design in 2001 with a first class honours degree in Fine Art. In 2002 I gained an MA in Fine Art, also from Norwich School of Art and Design.
My work has always focussed on the deep archaeology of place - both landscape and human - and how this, woven with folklore and faith, touches our present lives.
These are examples of work from projects that I have completed since 2006. It was hard to choose just a few! If you would like to see further work, please visit my separate art website at www.imogenashwin.com and click on the project tabs to see more images and archived material from Festial (2007-2008), Pace (2009), Howe (2010-2011), SAW (2011) and Life Line (2011).
I am always happy to discuss giving talks or workshops relating to the themes of my art work.
