Fourteen crossing-places on Wood Dalling's parish boundary; at each place a singing bowl is struck with a twig from the nearest tree. Medieval people used sound to drive out their resident demons and seal their circle against those being driven across from neighbouring parishes - do the dying notes from my singing bowl really disappear into thin air?
